DESCRIPTION:Fast & Furriest 5k / 2mi Race\n  \nUPDATE ON RACE PHOTOS: \nAward group and photos taken by Miss Winkles staff are available for download from this Dropbox link and photos taken on the course by Darryl Ploen\, professional photographer\, are available on ploenphoto.com! \n\nJoin us for our first ever 5k / 2 mile race to support the pets at Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center! You may recall we’ve hosted the Donut Dog Walk for the past few years\, but this year we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to participate in a race fun for humans and their pets alike! Choose our competitive chip-timed 5k race for our racers who want a little bit of friendly competition\, choose our non-competitive 2 mile walk great for your pets\, kids\, and friends\, or register for our Virtual 5k where you can do your race anywhere and still get the benefits of our shirt and finisher medal! All festivities will take place on the Clovis Trail starting at the 120 N. Clovis parking lot and the race will primarily be on paved asphalt. Dogs are permitted provided they are on a leash or strapped into a stroller or backpack. The 5k begins at 8:00 am and the 2 Mile Run/Walk begins at 8:05 am. \nParticipants will receive: \n\nChip timing for 5k participants\nPerformance technical shirt (unisex adult sizes XS – 2XL\, and youth small & medium). To guarantee availability of your shirt size\, register by March 23! After that date\, sizes can not be guaranteed.\nFree photo downloads\nAge group awards for timed 5k participants\nFinisher’s medal for 5k and 2m participants\nPost-race snacks\nAnd be sure to visit our sponsor booths!\n\nRace Location: \nClovis Trail\n120 N.
