DESCRIPTION: Join us for Kitten Yoga on Saturday\, August 16th!\n\n\nTaught by Jessica Maddox\, local yoga instructor\, you will get the opportunity take a yoga class with Miss Winkles kittens! Not only will that boost your endorphins\, it will help socialize these adorable kittens and build their confidence in meeting new people! \nThe class is $30 per person and all proceeds will go towards animal care for all our pets at Miss Winkles! Yoga mats and props will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer! It is an indoor event and kittens will be present for the duration of the yoga session. Each class will be 45 minutes long. Space is limited to 20 people per session\, so sign up before spots are all gone! \nThe class will be held inside the Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center Community Room at 85 Temperance Ave\, Clovis\, CA 93611. \n\n\nRegistration opens Wednesday\, July 23 and costs $30 per person. We will be offering several vaccines including rabies\, DAPP\, Bordetella\, and FVRCP in addition to microchips – a simple way that helps rescuers identify your pet! And you don’t have to be a City of Clovis resident to bring your pet in for services\, just make sure you book your appointment as walk-in space will be very limited! \nDOGS: \n$10 – Microchip only\n$17 – Rabies Vaccine only\n$17 – DAPP Vaccine only\n$17 – Bordetella Vaccine only \nCATS: \n$10 – Microchip only\n$17 – Rabies Vaccine only\n$17 – FVRCP Vaccine only \nCity of Clovis Dog Licenses* will also be available for free by email only on Saturday\, August 23\, until 11:59 pm. If you need a dog license (City of Clovis residents only)\, please separately email your dog’s current Rabies Certificate and separate Spay/Neuter Certificate** to clovisanimalservices@clovisca.gov. \n*One year City of Clovis Dog Licenses are free to City of Clovis residents on Saturday\, August 23\, 2025 until 11:59pm by email only. In order to receive your free one year dog license\, you must email your current rabies certificate (expired ones will not be accepted) and your pet’s spay/neuter certificate to clovisanimalservices@cityofclovis.com. **Proof of spay/neuter can only be verified by an official spay/neuter certificate\, not by the designation on your rabies certificate or other veterinary paperwork. Providing proof of spay/neuter will allow you to be eligible for the “Spayed or Neutered” rate at time of renewal. If your pet is not spayed or neutered\, you will have to renew your license at the “Not Spayed/Neutered” rate.
